MY EVS IN ANFFAS CREMONA ONLUS!!!

It's 3 months since I arrived to Cremona! I'm every day suprised by Anffas people, they all are so shiny and happy - all the time! What is more - we are preparing christmas party! There will be a contest of cakes and many others attractions!

Also my mentor Sara is a teacher of photography - every Wednesday she makes workshops, Anffas people can take their own cameras and do pictures with her. Previous week I went with photography group to center of Cremona, our task was to make christmas pictures, what was quite hard, because sun was shining and our photos looks more like an advertisement of autumn:)

Since 5th of September I am in Italy and I have a big luck to be a volunteer in Anffas. I have replaced Sedat at his place, and my volunteers responsibilities are simmilar to his.

 

My beginning in Anffas was quite unusual - for the first time I've got a big poster saying 'welcome Maja', what was really nice gift at my first, really scared days. I get know new culture, new language (italian, the most complicated language ever!), new people and new places. But Anffas people helped me a lot at those days - it wasn't a problem that I can't speak italian and I don't know what to do in most of situations (first of all it was because of forgiving educators, but a lot of encourage I get also from people which come to organisation every day).

 

For now I can say that I accustomed to Anffas life. It's even strange for me at weekend, when I can't listen how others reads newspaper. Even now, when I'm sick and I can't be in Anffas, I really missed that place. It is unique place, open for new people and ideas, full of volunteers and laugh.
